    Abstract

We developed the Sub-cooling System on Multiple Packaged Air Conditioners (PACs). This system saves the energy consumption by adding the external cold heat into refrigeration cycle through an additional heat exchanger. In this study, as an application of refrigeration cycle behaviors with such the sub-cooling system, we propose an estimation method of cooling capacity, in order to realize the onsite performance verification conveniently without flow rate data of air and refrigerant, on inverter-driven PACs. And then, the possibility of proposed estimation method is evaluated.
