Abstract
A study was performed on switching effect in Cu:7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) charge transfer (CT)-complex thin films. The vacuum codeposition technique was used for the purpose. It was found that at λ=600-1200 nm, characteristic CT-absorption was observed in the complex film in the ultraviolet (UV)-visible spectrum.
