Synthesis and metal complexation of Topological Polyphenylazomethines

Abstract

Polyphenylazomethine can be easily synthesized through the dehydration of aromatic amine with aromatic ketone. It has many imine sites, which easily coordinate to metals. We have synthesized the compounds with novel and unique structures using azomethine. Then, their structures and complexation with metals were studied.
