title = "Synthesis and radical polymerization of acrylamides having one or two 3-carbazolylmethyl moieties and properties of the formed polymers",
abstract = "A series of novel mono- and bis[(9-alkylcarbazol-3-yl)methyl]acrylamides were synthesized and their radical polymerization was investigated. Emissions of bis(carbazolyl)acrylamide polymers were extended to longer wavelengths compared with those of the corresponding mono(carbazolyl) polymers, indicating the existence of interchromophoric interaction between carbazole moieties. Ionization potentials of the polymers by photoelectron yield spectroscopy showed that donor ability of the biscarbazolyl polymer was higher than that of the monocarbazolyl polymer.",
