    Abstract

We designed a gene carrier that can activate the delivered gene in response to the intercellular kinase signal. 'c-Src', which is non-receptor tyrosine kinase, is specifically activated within a cancer cell. We create gene carrier to express a therapeutics gene in response to 'c-Src'. We synthesize polymers that are grafted c-Src substrate peptide as an intercellular signal-response gene carrier. We will discuss the design of c-Src responsive carriers and their abilities for target signal specific gene regulation.
