Temperature-induced insulator-conductor-insulator transitions and conductance oscillations in epitaxial BaTiO3 films

Abstract

We have found that the a/c domained BaTiO3 films change their conductance repeatedly by over six orders of magnitude as temperature changes. In addition, we demonstrate that these films exhibit oscillatory change of conductance in the proximity of the bulk Curie temperature approx. 130C.
