Terahertz Heterodyne and Operation for Physically Encrypted Wireless Communication

Abstract

A physically encrypted wireless communication configuration that deduces ANDed data decrypted from heterodyne detection between two wireless data streams is proposed. The demonstration of heterodyne AND operation was conducted by THz carriers radiated from arrayed UTC-PDs. Experimental results testified the proposed heterodyne AND operation scheme.
