Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy of antiferromagnetic resonance in orthoferrite

Abstract

Antiferromagnetic resonance in orthoferrite NdFeO 3 has been investigated using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. A resonance at 0.5 THz was detected which was assigned to the AF-mode of the antiferromagnetic spin precession.
