Abstract

This paper presents vibration analyses of a Trass core panel. Trass core panels are newly-devised lightweight core panels which can be highly versatile. We conducted Eigenvalue analyses and excitation experiments to obtain the vibration characteristics such as the Eigen frequency and Eigen mode. Then we compared the Eigen frequency of a Trass core panel to that of a flat panel of equal weight.
