Abstract
The effect of operating temperatures on cycle performance is discussed from thermodynamic viewpoint. The temperature effectiveness and the entropy generation on cycle time are analyzed. The entropy generation number for the advanced adsorption cycle is smaller for hot water temperature between 45 to 55 °C with a cooling source of 30 °C, while for the conventional cycle, the entropy generation number is smaller for hot water temperature between 65 to 75 °C with the same cooling source temperature.
