Abstract
Fluorescence lifetime of Coumarin 153 dispersed in ultrathin films of ARTON® was examined. Mode-locked Ti:Sapphire picosecond laser at 440 nm was introduced from the substrate side at the incident angle of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) or guided wave mode (GWM) excitation. Time-resolved fluorescence was detected by a streak camera. The ARTON® ultrathin film was prepared on a buffer poly(vinyl alcohol) layer with appropriate thickness on a silver film (35 nm). The detail result will be presented in the talk.
