Abstract

Experimental studies are made of the transducer characteristics of Flux-Flow Amplifier(FFA), which is an analog amplifier utilizing the flux-flow phenomenon in a long Josephson tunnel junction. Transresistances ranging from 0.1 Ω to 0.4 Ω and linear output voltages as large as 1mV are obtained for different geometries and junction critical-current densities of FFA’s.
