Abstract

Two-photon-activated polymerization was achieved by using dendrimers. A dendrimer having a diameter of several nanometers became a shell that limited energy transfer between cored-chromophore and photo-initiator. This technique provided three-dimensional submicrofabrication as small as 0.35 μm.
