Abstract

Ultrabroadband coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microspectroscopy using supercontinuum has been applied to investigate a single pollen grain at a molecular level. The CARS images due to carotenoid derivative and lipid have been successfully obtained with different vibrational contrast.
