N2 - A versatile alternative to entangled and random-coiled polymers, Pluronic F127, has been developed for a DNA separation matrix in microchip electrophoresis. This temperature-sensitive and viscosity-tunable polymer provided excellent resolutions over a wide range of DNA sizes based on a different separation mechanism compared with conventional polymers such as cellulose-derivatives.
