This paper reports a study designed to develop and validate “The Check Catalogue for Quality of College Student Life Scale 45 (CC-QOCL-45)” and identified factors associate with satisfaction of campus life of Japanese college students. A Factor Analysis (principal factor method, promax rotation) with tetrachoric correlation matrix of 9465 college students’ data indicated a 12-factor model was the best fit and factors named appropriately. 270 college students (male=53,female=217) completed the CC-QOCL-45 and WHOQOL-26. The concordance rate of test-retest was confirmed by ICC(1,1), 43 items‘ concordance rate were moderate and 2 items’ rate were poor to fair. Alpha coefficients were α=.879(test)、and. α=881(retest), Pearson’s correlation between CC-QOCL-45 and WHOQOL-26 were r=.737(p<.001). Logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine the student satisfaction variable effect from each factor of CC-QOCL-45, and odds ratios (OD) were calculated each of under graduate students and graduate students. For undergraduate students, factor “Sex(Female) (OD=1.50)”,”Intimate friendship(OD=1.66)”,”Physical condition (OD=1.38)”、”A feeling of identification with their college (OD=2.09)”,”Worthwhileness of life(OD=1.50)”, “Positiveness for communication(OD=1.12),”Self-efficacy (OD=1.38)”,”Lecture (OD=1.64),”Activeness(OD=1.28)” affected to satisfaction for campus life of college students. For graduate students factor “Sex(Female) (OD=1.51)”,”Intimate friendship(OD=1.51)”,”Anxiety (OD=1.26)”、”A feeling of identification with their college (OD=1.97)”,”Worthwhileness of life(OD=1.64)”, “Positiveness for communication(OD=1.17),”Self-efficacy (OD=1.37)”,”Lecture (OD=1.83), and “environment of study(OD=1.23)” affected to satisfaction for campus life of college students.
