It is for a purpose of this paper to investigate the function that the then human resources training served as in a Southeastern Asian multicultural society. ln other words, through some examples of the human resources training for Southeastern Asian development in "TAKUNAN-JYUKU", I consider what it is with the training that it is necessary to communicate in a multicultural society. The reason is because it thinks about my taking up the human resources training of "TAKUNAN-JYUKU" by this paper when the training that is necessary for cross-cultural communication was contained for an educational practice there. "TAKUNAN-JYUKU" is a civilian training organization set up for the Southeast Asia development by TAKUMU-SHO and DAITOA-SHO at the time of World War II. On the other hand, the foundation of "TAKUNAN-JYUKU" complies with a national policy, and we cannot deny that there were an imperialism idea and principle of colonization intention. However, on the other hand, graduates of "TAKUNAN-JYUKU" learned to adjust Southeastern Asian manners and customs and were going to blend into the local people. And they cooperated with local people and were going to contribute to local development. When 1 watched it from some examples of such graduates of "TAKUNAN-JYUKU", I can point out that there was an aspect to contribute to learn a flexible thought, it is necessary to acquire a method of communication in cross-cultural contact, in an education idea and an education method of "TAKUNANJYUKU".
