A 59-year-old man treated with radiotherapy of the nasopharynx and neck lymph nodes for nasopharyngeal cancer 5 years earlier, presented with a complaint of diplopia. Fiberoptic examination of the nose and nasopharynx revealed ulcerative lesion. Transnasal biopsy revealed squamous cell carcinoma. Invasion of the ethmoid sinus, sphenoid sinus and right lobus temporalis was identified by MRI. He received 2 courses of systemic chemotherapy with MTX, 5-FU and CDDP, but no response of the tumor was obtained. As the second treatment, superselective and selective intra- arterial infusion chemotherapy was performed. After the treatment, majority of the tumor mass disappeared on MRI.
