A 72-year-old female presented with gradually enlarging tumor in the left upper eyelid of two years' duration. Histopathological studies of the resected lesion showed tumor cells with clear cytoplasm and atypical nucleus proliferating in multilobular configuration both in the dennis and epidermis. The cytoplasm contained numerous granules. PAS staining with or without diastase digestion showed these granules to be glycogen. The cancer cells were clearly differentiated from hair follicles. Mitotic figures were frequent. These findings led to the diagnosis of the tumor as trichilemmal carcinoma.
