<p>There have been numerous incidents of infants opening drug packaging intended for adults and accidentally swallowing tablets, and this has become a social issue. The authors have previously carried out evaluation testing of child-resistant pill containers, which are difficult for infants to open but not difficult for ordinary people to use.
