N2 - The impact responses of steel and reinforced concrete (RC) beams were previously analyzed. It was found that the decrease in the stiffness of concrete is a key feature to analyse RC beam. Consequently, introducing the damage model, analytical solutions are improved, and the applicability is demonstrated. Further, a new model is developed, estimating the residual impact resistance. Thus, the impact response of RC beam under cyclic loading is clarified.
