Application of a selective laser ionization photodetector for detection of Raman scattering in flames

抄録

The measurement of Raman spectrum in luminous background, such as flame, plasma, and daylight, is very difficult. A new scheme for the detection of Raman scattering in a flame is proposed, based on the concept of selective laser ionization photodetector (SLIP) which we previously proposed. The feasibility of this scheme is numerically investigated, and the results show that the Raman scattering of N2 or H2 in a flame can be detected with high signal to noise ratio for modeled air-acetylene and air-hydrogen flames.
