Cooperative Control of Injection Current and Temperature at DFB-LD for High-speed High-Reliability Wavelength Switching

We devise cooperative control of injection current and temperature for wavelength switching at the DFB-LD. Prompt change of the current makes high-speed switching and gradual cooperative change of current/temperature results in wavelength stabilization at lower current. Experiment shows a switching within 31 ms as well as long term stabilization with the current of less than 100 mA.
