抄録

Diesel particulate materials (DPM) in a real diesel exhaust gas were collected in a reactor using an electrostatic precipitation (ESP). Subsequently, the ESP-collected DPM were treated in the same reactor by a dielectric barrier discharge in a model gas including NO molecules. It was suggested that actual DPM and NO acting as the oxidant and reductant, respectively, were decomposed simultaneously and effectively by DBD.
