Eddy current effect on the zero-level stability was studied with a two-head torque sensor under the rate of revolution of the steel shaft as high as 6000 revolution per minute. The excitation frequency was changed from 500 Hz to 60 kHz. Large fluctuation over several periods of rotation was observed in the output for the excitation frequency 500 Hz. The fluctuation disappeared at 60 kHz.
