The structure of a collapsed wormlike chain with a uniform linear charge density was studied. The case with weak electrostatic correlations and high screening was considered, where the role of small electrolyte molecules in the system was reduced to conventional linear screening. The thickness of a torus made from a relatively highly charged chain was limited to a finite value by assuming a torus as a collapsed structure. The results show that the gyration radius of the torus for a charged chain increases with the chain length compared to that of a neutral chain.
