Enhanced photochromism in the hybrid film of tungstic acid and polyethylene glycol

抄録

The mixing of polyethylene glycol (PEG) with tungstic acid induced drastic enhancement of the photochromism as well as better film formation. The photochromic sensitivity to UV light increased with the amount of PEG added. In addition, the coloration by the irradiation of UV light in the hybrid films faded with heating, but was recovered by the re-exposure of the lights.
