抄録

In order to estimate formaldehyde emission rate from building materials, desiccator method (JIS A 1460) has been widely used as an alternative of small test chamber method based on JIS A 1901. Recently, market supply of desiccator specified by JIS R 3503 was canceled and there is no prospect of future production, and hence it is necessary to investigate the various desiccators on market and to clarify their performance related formaldehyde emission test. This paper reports numerical analysis by reproducing diffusion phenomenon in desiccators appropriate for the formaldehyde emission test.
