N2 - Advancement in the molecular analysis has expanded our understandings in the medical research and diagnostic. Here we developed the self-heating nanowires microfluidic device for detecting target sequences from circulating free DNA (cfDNA). First, we confirmed that this device enable to denature double-stranded DNAs to single-stranded DNAs, then efficiently capture 89% of cfDNAs. Next, the full performance of this device was confirmed, which can denature, in-situ capture cfDNAs and hybridize probes with target DNAs within a device. Moreover, we also investigated the interaction between nanowires and cfDNA using FTIR analysis.
