抄録

<p>We modified an interface to convert EBSD crystal orientation maps into geometric models for FEM; an algorism to determine the representative crystal orientation in each crystal grain was developed. The algorism for the representative crystal orientations is that we select the crystal orientation belonging to the largest group with similar crystal orientations by using the value named "crystal orientation density" that is calculated by summation of weighted misorientations within each crystal grain. Image-based crystal plasticity analysis of polycrystalline <i>α</i>-Ti was performed employing the interface. The results of the image-based crystal plasticity analysis were compared to an experimental one.</p>
