N2 - In order to make a useful model of premixed turbulent combustion, measurements of turbulent burning velocities were carried out in a closed bomb under various turbulence intensities. Thirty-nine premixed mixtures grouped by their laminar burning velocity, laminar flame thickness and equivalence ratio were used in the experiment and the effects of those mixture properties on turbulent burning velocity were investigated. The spectral model, which has no arbitrary constants, was disclosed to predict well the turbulent burning velocity, including the effects of laminar burning velocity, laminar flame thickness and equivalence ratio.
