N2 - Mobile communications have become popular in recent years, and the mobile users can connect to the Internet at anyplace. More and more mobile users will inquire about their locations in the future. When we provide information about a certain place, it is one of the effective methods to use images taken by fixed-point observation cameras, because the camera images can explicitly tell us about the situation of the place. Moreover, using multiple cameras is more effective because we can see many places from many angles. There are, however, some problems to be solved when we use multiple cameras. One problem is that it is difficult to select one target camera from a great number of cameras. In our research, we suggest an algorithm to select the optimal camera that suits for user requests based on positional information. We can use multiple cameras with unique parameters by using our proposed method.
