N2 - A simple dynamical model for coevolution is investigated. An exact localized solution is found in a one-dimensional model system. A dominant species appears owing to a positive feedback effect, although the bare fitness is equivalent for all species. When a prey-predator interaction is involved in a hypercubic system, the most dominant species changes successively in time, because the predator depresses the fitness of the dominant species.
