抄録

The vapor concentration around an evaporating fuel droplet was investigated at 673-873 K and 0.5-3 MPa. A suspended fuel droplet with dia ∼ 1 mm was generated in a pressurized chamber filled with N2. n-Dodecane (critical pressure 18.2 bar, critical temperature 658.2 K) was used as fuel. An IR radiator was employed as light source. Experiments were carried out under microgravity conditions provided by Drop Tower Bremen, to realize spherical symmetry for data analysis. The information integrated through the light path was differentiated with the assumption of axial symmetry. Original is an abstract.
