Morphology and structure of organosilica hybrid particles derived from tetramethoxysilane and vinyltrimethoxysilane via a catalyst-free sol-gel route

抄録

Organosilica hybrid particles were derived for the first time from a catalyst-free neutral sol-gel system of vinyltrimethoxysilane, tetramethoxysilane, ethanol, and water and consisted of T species (CH 2CH-Si(-O-Si)n(OH, OCH3)3-n, n = 2 and 3) and Q species (Si(-O-Si)n(OH, OCH3)4-n, n = 2, 3, and 4). After combined with poly(methylmethacrylate) and CaCl 2, they induced deposition of bioactive apatite in the Kokubo's simulated body fluid and are applicable for bone regeneration.
