In the present study, numerical reproduction of experiments on unsteady strong shock wave reflection process is attempted in order to validate numerical flow solver. Shock Mach number exceeds 15 on the experiment, molecular nitrogen and oxygen dissociate behind shock wave. So, the present numerical code is the two-dimensional full Naver- Stokes code for chemically reacting flows under an assumption of thermal equilibrium for a preliminary simulation. Thermo-chemical models for dissociated air 5-species are employed. Fractional time stepping explicit time accurate simulation is conducted. Some phenomena are observed related with real gas effects on the experiment. Those phenomena are qualitatively reproduced by the numerical simulation. Since, thermal equilibrium is assumed in the present simulation, phenomena that seems to be related to relaxation process may be not sufficiently reproduced to some extent.
