抄録

A towed vehicle system, FLYING FISH, is under developing for use in making chemical and physical measurements which enable us to obtain specially continuous and real time data in a ocean mixed layer. The heave, pitch and roll of FLYING FISH are controlled by a main wing and horizontal tail wings which permit its stable attitudes and assure accurate measurements. The numerical simulation of motions was carried out to design the optimal control system of this towed vehicle system and the result gave the data for the design of the mechanical parts of the control system.
