Numerical study on effect of rock mass stability on deep deposit slicing at uranium mine in Czech Republic

To assess the stability of rock mass at the exploitation of uranium deposit of Rožná, a method of spatial mathematical modeling was used that made it possible to forecast the behavior of mass in the course of further advance in mining. The mathematical modeling of stress states was done for deposit exploitation to the final depth of reserves valuation, i.e. the depth of 1,500 m below ground. In this deep mine, it is necessary to consider that there are severe problems such as floor heave, rock burst and so on. From this reason, as the numerical study on effect of rock mass stability on the deep deposit slicing was carried out, it is forecasted the several behavior of rock mass.
