Self-similar fluctuation and large deviation statistics in the shell model of turbulence

抄録

An overview is given on the intermittent fluctuation of the energy-transfer process of the Gledzer-Ohkitani-Yamada (GOY) shell model by use of the large deviation-rate function. The GOY shell model of the dynamical energy-cascade characteristics of the energy-transfer process is solved numerically. The rate function of the energy flux is computed. Finally, the fluctuations of the inertial range energy flux and the energy dissipation rate about their dynamic scaling are compared.
