    The study proposes an open-cycle adsorption air-conditioning system, which consists of fixed-bedtype dehumidification units, a plate heat exchanger, and the Maisotsenko cycle (M-cycle) cooling unit. The system produces cool, dry air for air-conditioning purposes, and it can be driven by lowgrade thermal energy, such as waste hot water, or solar thermal energy. The paper describes numerical modeling of the dehumidification unit as well as the M-cycle cooling unit, and the performance of the system is analyzed based on the transitional simulation.
