抄録

Marking mutations: Complete discrimination of 8-oxoguanosine (8-oxoG) from other nucleosides has been achieved with a new fluorescent probe, named "8-oxoG-clamp" (see picture). The complex structure between 8-oxoG-clamp and 8-oxoG was confirmed by ¹H NMR titration and 2D NMR measurements. A preliminary investigation with use of a detergent for solubilization indicates that 8-oxoG-clamp may be applicable in aqueous media.
