Gastrointestinal lymphoma is the most frequently occurring extranodal lymphoma, and has a wide variety of imaging findings. Precise diagnosis of gastrointestinal lymphoma represents a distinct advantage when planning its therapy. In this article, we illustrate the radiologic and endoscopic appearances of gastrointestinal lymphoma in the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small bowel, and large bowel. FDG-PET (/ CT) and CT provide a better overall assessment of the disease stage, and both by contrast radiography and by endoscopy, the characteristic findings of gastrointestinal lymphoma (eg, submucosal infiltration, preserved flexibility) are often clearly demonstrated.
