Study of isoscalar spin strength via the 12 C(d→, d′→) reaction

抄録

The spin-flip probability S 1 and the double-spin-flip probability S 2 for the 12 C(d→, d′→) reaction at Ε d =270 MeV have been measured at θ lab between 2.5° and 7.5° and for excitation energies up to 25 MeV by using a vector-and-tensor Deuteron POLarimeter DPOL. Large S 1 values are observed for the transitions to the isoscalar spin-flip states, such as the 12.71 MeV 1 + state. S 2 has values close to zero for all the measured excitation energy region.
