This study examined SWOT Analysis and effectiveness forecast in design projects. Regarding the former, a total of 41 items were collected and sorted out for evaluation based on past studies aiming at research and development; 27 regarding strength and weakness, and 14 regarding opportunities and threats. Effectiveness of this analysis was confirmed through examination of past design projects. As for the latter, based on 27 viewpoints regarding strength and weakness, the items were selected based on their successful achievement. Cause and effect relationship among items was determined by using DEMATEL Method, and those which present final results obtained through execution of design projects and those that triggered to achieve successful results were determined. Guidelines for strategic execution of design projects were obtained from the result.
