Synthesis of nanoparticles using low temperature plasmas and its application to solar cells and tracers in living body

抄録

Three applications of nanoparticles synthesized using plasmas has been demonstrated such as third generation solar cells and biotechnology. We produced Si, Ge and In nanoparticles by reactive plasmas, rf sputtering and plasma in water, respectively. We have confirmed multiple exciton generation in cells using Si and Ge nanoparticles. Using In nanoparticles, we have realized high sensitive tracers for understanding nanoparticle kinetics in living body.
