Thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) from Sn4 +-porphyrin complexes and their application to organic light emitting diodes- Novel pathway for high efficiency electroluminescence

抄録

We developed six Sn4+-porphyrin complexes showing thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF). The TADF intensities were increased with an increase of temperature owing to acceleration of the reverse intersystem crossing from triplet to singlet excited states by heat activation. Further, we demonstrate TADF under electrical excitation. We believe that TADF will provide novel light-emitting mechanism which significantly enhances electroluminescence quantum efficiency.
